Here is how Firefox now looks in my Vista installation. Well, not exectly like IE 7 but I did all I could to make it look familier to Vista OS. Here is how to do it.

The extensions that you will need are
1) Compact menu
2) All in one sidebar
3) If u r like me, Flashblock & View cookie CS.
4) Stop or reload button this will replace the two stop & reload buttons with only one button
You will also need this theme, which is currently in beta.
Install the theme first, then install AIW sidebar, & configure as you like. I seet it to come only when i click on the toolbar button.
Now install compact menus & place the compact menu button on the toolbar where ever u like. Using this, you can select which menus u wants to see when u click on the compact menus. Usually Sidebar has add ons & history & bookmarks already so u hardly need any new menu now.
Now, open your userchrome.css file & in the end add these lines. This will hide the menubar
Quote:
#toolbar-menubar { display: none !important; } |
I would also recomend trying out Firefox Native builds according to your CPU.
